Xeomin®, Botox®, and Dysport® are called neuromodulators. A neuromodulator is a medicine that is injected into the muscles of the forehead, crow’s feet, and frown lines to help decrease the look of moderate to severe wrinkles in adults over the age of 18. Many people refer to these types of neuromodulators as just Botox®. In actuality, there are several products that can achieve the same results. For example Xeomin® and  Dysport® .There are slight variations in these neuromodulators, and I am here to help you choose what product is best for your desired results.

In general, neuromodulators are a great tool to help decrease wrinkles A single treatment can last 3-4 months. There are other areas that can also be treated in addition to the areas listed above. The lower face wrinkles can also be treated to achieve harmony of the upper face areas. Treatment areas include: dimpling chin, lip wrinkles, under eye wrinkles, downturned mouth wrinkles, platysma bands (neck), and masseter muscles (jaw).

Overall, treatment with any of the neuromodulators, when used consistently every 3-4 months, can help decrease the deep lines and wrinkles from muscle use.

As we age, we loose volume in the face, causing wrinkles and sagging skin. Dermal fillers are a jelly like substance that can be injected into areas of the face to help decrease these signs of aging. Dermal fillers help to smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, they help enhance lips, they can help smooth lines around the face, and they can help lift the cheeks when volume has been lost.

The best thing about dermal fillers is that they are a non surgical option to help treat signs of aging. They require no down time, and results are almost immediate. Let our expert injector know which area is bothering you the most, and the rest can help determine which treatment is best for you.

Average Treatment Time: 1 hour

Microneedling is a procedure that uses multiple small needles to puncture the skin of the face. These small punctures can help slow down the aging process by stimulating the skin to create collagen. As we age, we produce less collagen and our skin texture and tone diminishes. By creating small punctures with these needles in a pen like device, therapeutic skin products can then be applied and absorbed quickly.

Microneedling treatments are ideal for acne and injury scars, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, shallow wrinkles, stretch marks, large pores, and even hair loss. Patients can begin to see results between 4-6 months. A series of 3 treatments, one month apart, can be effective for best results. Overall, the procedure is pretty painless, as we use a topical numbing cream. Redness post treatment is quite common, so allow 24 hours before any special events. Make sure to wear sunscreen when your skin has healed and avoid the sun until redness subsides.

Average Treatment Time: 1-2 hours

Repeat: monthly for 3 months, then twice a year after that
